In this role, you will be working closely with GitHub’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), helping to develop and execute communication strategies that align with the company’s priorities.

You’ll be responsible for crafting both internal and external messaging, including speeches, social media content, and keynotes while working with other teams to amplify GitHub’s brand and go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Executive Communications and the Office of the CRO to create communication strategies that reflect GitHub’s goals.
  • Develop a consistent messaging strategy for both internal and external audiences.
  • Create speeches, presentations, and tailored messages for various stakeholders, including developers, customers, and partners.
  • Monitor communication channels to manage opportunities and risks, and prepare statements when needed.
  • Work with different teams (e.g., marketing, revenue, social media) on product launches and company events.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, GitHub is looking for someone with below-mentioned qualifications:

  • Proven skills in project management, writing, and editing, with a track record of managing communication projects from start to finish.
  • Experience in writing speeches and keynotes.
  • Experience working across different business functions like communications, product, and customer engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting C-level executives.
  • Experience in the software development, AI, or technology industry.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role ranges from $89,200 to $236,600 per year, depending on your location, experience, and skills. GitHub also offers various benefits such as annual bonuses, stock rewards, and sales incentives based on your performance.
